Description
The Content Creator works closely with the marketing team to capture visually interesting and engaging content to be used across social media and all other digital platforms. The Content Creator also partners with the Social Media and Communications Managers to plan and execute the creation of materials supporting each individual brand.
Responsibilities
• Create high-quality, visually appealing content including photos, videos, and graphics for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions
• Monitor social media channels for trending news, ideas, and feedback
• Analyze and report on social media performance
• Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and ensure that content meets marketing goals
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met, and projects are completed on time
• Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices; implement new strategies to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in social content creation in a professional capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, latest trends, and best practices
• Creative thinking and innovative approach to content creation
• Great team player who is open to constructive feedback
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• A comprehensive knowledge of photography, videography equipment, and editing software
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while efficiently using time to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, while also being a collaborative team player
• Exceptional ability to problem-solve, innovate, think strategically and creatively
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Lightroom, and Premiere Pro graphic design software
• Skilled in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Retail, restaurant, or food and beverage experience, as well as a passion for staying current with the latest content trends is a plus
• Experience in using social media management platform such as Emplifi, or Sprout
• Ability to troubleshoot, adapt and capture content in fast-paced restaurant environments
